Terms of Service

Your agreement with Email2Chat

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Email2Chat (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Effective date: January 1, 2026

1) Service description

Email2Chat converts emails from Gmail, Outlook or Microsoft 365, or any IMAP compatible mailbox into chat messages on Telegram and WhatsApp (and future channels). The Service fetches, transforms, and pushes notifications. Email bodies and attachments are processed transiently to generate the chat message and optional AI summary or translation. We do not store email content by default.

2) Accounts and access

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
  • Authentication is available via Azure AD B2C (Microsoft Entra External ID) or local email plus password. Google or Microsoft OAuth grants read only mailbox permissions.
  • You are responsible for actions taken through your account and connected mailboxes or channels.

3) Data handling and privacy

  • No storage of email bodies or attachments: by default we do not store message content in our database.
  • Read only by default: we do not delete or modify your emails.
  • Tokens and settings: we store OAuth tokens or IMAP credentials (to keep connections active), chat identifiers (to deliver messages), and your feature toggles. You may revoke access from your provider or disconnect from the dashboard at any time.
  • Offline or hybrid AI: summarization, Arabic translation, classification, and voice notes can run locally. Cloud AI is optional and off by default.
  • See our Privacy Policy for details.

4) Acceptable use

  • No illegal, infringing, or harmful content; no harassment or abuse.
  • No sending spam or violating the terms or policies of Google, Microsoft, Telegram, WhatsApp, or your email or chat providers.
  • No attempts to bypass security, probe networks, or overload the Service.
  • Respect rate limits and any fair use guidelines we may publish.

5) Billing and subscriptions

  • Some features are paid. Fees and plan details are described on our Pricing page and may change from time to time.
  • Unless stated otherwise, charges are prepaid and non refundable. If you believe a charge is in error, contact us.
  • We may suspend or cancel the Service for unpaid invoices or misuse.

6) Availability and support

We aim for reliable delivery, but uptime may vary. Maintenance, provider outages (Google, Microsoft, Telegram, WhatsApp), or network issues can affect performance. We provide reasonable support for paying customers during business hours.

7) Third party services

The Service integrates with third party providers. Their terms govern your use of those services. We are not responsible for third party actions, policies, or outages.

8) Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, including software, branding, and documentation. You retain rights to your content. You grant us the limited rights necessary to operate the Service, such as processing emails transiently to deliver notifications.

9) Termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time and disconnect mailboxes or channels.
  • We may suspend or terminate access for violations, non payment, or risk to the platform.
  • Upon termination, we may delete stored tokens and settings after a reasonable period.

10) Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, CSB Group SARL or CSB Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business.
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by you for the Service in the 3 months prior to the claim.

11) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CSB Group SARL or CSB Academy from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12) Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Courts located in Beirut, Lebanon shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

13) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product or legal changes. We will post updates here and revise the effective date. If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide additional notice.
